It all started with a family practice by Dr Peter Drake in Richwood Ohio. He and his wife Barbara, a nurse, had three sons…..two became doctors  Kelly whose  practice is in Georgia and Cody in North Carolina. The third son Tracy is an attorney who is married to my daughter Dr Pamela Drake.

But now we have a new Dr Evin (Drake) Bender as of this month of May in Ohio.

Here you see her receiving her match for residency in a little town in north east Pennsylvania where Evin and Matt will be moving.

Flo, I talked with you last spring while we were still in Fl. Sorry we were not able to come down before we left for Ohio. I did not know how to connect with you other that by your blog.
Pam and Tracy were both in Our Steve Dunn’s North Union Class of 1970. Wanted to let them know that Steve passed away on May 20th. He had not been well (CPOD) and just went to sleep in his chair. As you know it is not easy to loose a child, but we know he is at peace and not gasping for air.
Wishing all of you good thoughts and Memories. Hugs, Jan

I’m so sorry for the loss of your son and I do know the terrible sorrow of loosing a child. You NEVER get over it.

I’ve had trouble using my iPad or I would have answered you sooner. I’ll be 94 years old November 2nd and a bit slow with memory. I’m trying to get better.

I’ve started drinking e bottles of Ensure chocolate vitamin shake each day, doing arm and leg exercises,
and taking special breathing regime with special liquids with machine I got when I was in the hospital.

Anyway…. This old lady is now getting better. Maybe soon I can go back to painting portraits again. I’m working on a painting of my precious Susie who I lost from cancer when she was 55 years old.

I’m so sorry for your loss
      Flo
