“Sarah… where are you? Sarah honey, where are you?” Not a ‘peep’ do I hear from my little nine month old grandbaby! Desperately walking room to room, I’m now pleading, “Sarah sweetheart, please answer Gramma!” Still not a sound!!!!

She was right here just a minute ago. As I hurriedly enter the farthest room, there, in the middle of the room on the floor, sitting very still and very quiet, smiling triumphantly at her gramma, is my precious little grandbaby Sarah! Whew!!!!

I came by plane to the Baltimore-Washington airport from Florida to spend Christmas with my daughter Pamela, her husband Tracy and my little grand daughters Evin and Sarah in their home in Columbia, Maryland.

Tracy hasn’t come in yet from Mozambique Africa where he is currently working, my daughter is at her office seeing patients, their baby sitter has gone home to Africa, where she told us she had been a Princess, so I am here with our little ones.

Even before she could walk, little Sarah could frighten you by climbing to the highest cupboards.  You had to wonder, what in heaven’s name, will this little overly ambitious baby think of to do next?

LittleEntrepreneur02

Here she is trying to unload the dish washer!! I could think of nothing worse than to have her be hurt while in my care.

On a lighter side, when she performs her delightful, made up as she goes along, musical composition for our listening enjoyment, what does she do??????

LittleEntrepreneur03

What any creative pianist would do! She gives herself a big round of applause!!!!!!!!!

Now it’s her culinary arts. She is making cupcakes for us to feast on, with her compliments. And did someone say the leaves fallen from the trees need to be gathered?  As my daughter looks out her window, sure enough, what does she see?

LittleEntrepreneur05

Her ‘busy little bee’ Sarah, holding a long handle lawn fork, piling up the leaves ready to be bagged!

While visiting Gramma (me) in Florida along with the family, she has another great idea! This one takes a little assistance from Daddy!

LittleEntrepreneur06

How is this for an amusing way to entertain one’s self on the beautiful white sand beach at Siesta Key Florida?  And now it is Gramma’s  time to visit her little grand baby.

LittleEntrepreneur07

This envelope held my invitation to her birthday party. How could any respectable Grandmother not purchase a plane ticket fast to attend?

Now, my favorite of all! I saved the best for last! Her mother looks out a window into the big front lawn of their home and what does she see?

Oh, my! Is Sarah trying to sell her ‘beanie’ babies? It is a Saturday, and a yard sale is going on a couple houses down their street which is bringing considerable traffic by their home. Mamma hurries out to save the ‘beanie babies” while Daddy makes a pitcher of lemonade, cuts some fresh flowers, makes a lemonade “for sale” sign and:
